Half Adder
The first circuit we had to do is the half adder with an XOR gate, an AND gate, two switches, and two L.E.Ds.
Full Adder
After the half adder we had to do the full adder which was made of two XOR gates, two AND gates, one OR gate, 3 switches, and two L.E.Ds. From making this circuit I learned that you should draw the circuit so you know where the wires have to be connected and you can track which wires you have already connected and which ones you haven't.
Two Bit Adder - Half Adder and Full Adder
This circuit is the two bit adder that has a half adder and a full adder. The circuit is made up of three XOR gates, three AND gates, an OR gate, four switches and three L.E.Ds. From making this circuit we had to wire and rewire it three times. This was frustrating but when we were wiring and rewiring I learned that I had to wire carefully making sure that none of the wires were stripped to long so they touch other wires. I also learned you have to make sure the wires are in the correct hole so the circuit is complete.
Arithmetic Logic Unit
This circuit was made up of three AND gates, an XOR gate, a NOT gate, an OR gate, three switches, and one L.E.D.
